铝粉与矿物原料、特殊的水溶剂和表面活性剂混在一起经研磨精制加工生产后而成为银灰色、鳞片状粉末。具有性能稳定、活性高、使用方便、易分散于水中等特性，有利于加气混凝土浇筑生产。在低温和零点的情况下，熔化后铝指数不变，其活性是硅酸盐制品的理想添加剂、发气剂。各项指标达到或超过国家JC/T407-2008标准。
